JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) opened higher 0.58% at 4368 this morning to tracking gains in regional markets.
Asian shares rose on Friday thanks to gains on Wall Street, while the dollar steadied after facing pressure from a rallying yuan, Reuters reported.
Nymex’s crude oil fell 0.6% to US$45.65 per barrel in Asian trading this morning and gold rose 0.17% to US$1,111.20 per ounce.
Astra Agro jumped 4.34%, Bank Danamon surged 7.36%, Indo Tambangraya hiked 3.49%, London Sumatra lifted 3.5%, Perusahaan Gas Negara climbed 5.23%, and Timah gained 3.4%.
