JAKARTA (Indonesia Today) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) opened up 0.3% at 4,330.98 this morning following gains in regional markets, to tracking gains in Wall Street on Tuesday (Dec 11).
Hong Kong’s Hang Seng rose 0.55%, Australia’s All Ordianaries increased 0.55%, Singapore’s Straits Times added 0.46%, Japan’s Nikkei advanced 0.45%, Korea’s KOSPI up 0.37% and Shanghai inched up 0.28%,
In Jakarta bourse, United Tractors gained 2.89%, Astra International advanced 1.4%, Gudang Garam rose 1.49%, and Adaro Energy increased 1.42%. While Bumi Resources was flat. Semen Gresik lost 1.35%.
Crude oil inched up 0.17% to US$85.94 per barrel in Asian trading this morning. (hans@theindonesiatoday.com)
