JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) opened higher 0.55% at 4904 this morning inline with regional markets.
Asian share markets were trying to rally on Thursday as dovish comments from the head of the U.S. Federal Reserve coupled with an upbeat economic assessment from the central bank to lift Wall Street for a third straight session, Reuters reported.
Nymex’s crude oil increased 0.38% to US$104.15 per barrel in Asian trading while gold declined 0.18% to US$1,301.10 per ounce.
In Jakarta bourse, Astra International gained 1.6%, Bank Negara Indonesia rose 1.49%, BW Plantation increased 1.49%, Vale Indonesia hiked 2.5%, Jababeka lifted 1.5%, Adhi Karya climbed 1.8%, Wijaya Karya up 1.1%, and Pakuwon Jati gained 1.59%.
