JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) opened higher 0.48% at 4605 this morning following most regional markets.

While the Dow ended Wednesday with losses of 1.38% after the Federal Reserve kept its monetary policy unchanged, but appeared to signal expectations of weaker U.S. growth.

Nymex’s crude oil fell 1.02% to US$31.97 per barrel in Asian trading while gold rose 0.34% to US$1,119.60 per ounce.

Adaro Energy gained 2.94%, Aneka Tambang rose 1.85%, Bank Danamon increased 1.65%, Eagle High Plantation jumped 8.06%, Charoen Pokphand hiked 1.4%, Vale Indonesia lifted 1.45%, London Sumatra climbed 1.47%, and Bukit Asam surged 2.36%.
