JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) opened higher 0.37% at 4498 this morning inline with regional markets ahead of the release of China data for the fourth quarter of 2015.
Asian shares slightly gained in midmorning trade as nervous investors awaited a raft of fresh data on China’s economy, due to be released before the end of the morning session, Reuters reported.
Nymex’s crude oil dropped 6.57% to US$29.15 per barrel in Asian trading this morning while gold rose 1.17% to US$1,086.20 per ounce.
AKR Corporindo gained 1.42%, Eagle High Plantation rose 2.14%, Kalbe Farma increased 1.1%, London Sumatra hiked 1.54%, Perusahaan Gas Negara climbed 1.18%, Timah lifted 1.2%, and United Tractors increased 1.1%.
