JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) gained 0.52% to 4,606 this morning, to tracking regional markets. Japan’s Nikkei rose 1.2% and Hong Kong’s Hang Seng increased 1.3%.
In Jakarta bourse, blue chips and banking stocks led the market’s gain.
Astra International rose 0.76%, Adaro Energy hiked 1.3%, Kalbe Farma lifted 0.72%, Perusahaan Gas Negara increased 0.87%, Telkom climbed 1.38% and Trada Maritim up 0.72%.
Among banking stocks, Bank Central Asia rose 1.57%, Bank Rakyat Indonesia increased 0.65%, and Bank Mandiri hiked 0.6%.
For property stocks, profit taking remain hit as Lippo Karawaci dropped further 2.2% while Sentul City lost 2.1%. Alam Sutera also turned to flat after its opening gain.
Other losers were Media Nusantara Citra (-0.86%), Waskita Karya (-2.86%), Wijaya Karya (-1.05%), and Global Mediacom (-0.52%).
Nymex’s crude oil declined 1.62% to US$101.24 in Asian trading this morning.
