JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) gained 0.8% to 4370 this morning following gains in regional markets.

Astra International gained 2.38%, Alam Sutera rose 2%, Bank Negara Indonesia increased 2.9%, Charoen Pokphand hiked 2.76%, and Media Nusantara Citra lifted 2.08%.

Among losers were Bank Mandiri, Lippo Karawaci, and Bumi Resources Minerals.

Nymex’s crude oil inched down 0.02% to US$94.83 per barrel in Asian trading while gold inched up 0.05% to US$1,287.4 per ounce.
