JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) gained 0.35% to 4662 this morning opening trade, while regional markets were mixed.
Banking stocks led the market’s gain. Bank Rakyat Indonesia rose 1.55% and Bank Mandiri increased 2.12%.
Other gainers were London Sumatra (+1.02%), Telkom (+0.62%), Alam Sutra (+0.84%), Aneka Tambang (+0.95%), and Hanson International (+0.88%).
Nymex’s crude oil declined 0.53% to Rp102.21 per barrel in Asian trading while gold rose 0.69% to US$1,323.60 per ounce.
