JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) gained 0.26% to 4859 this morning opening trade following regional markets.

Asian stocks rose on Monday as upbeat news from China’s factory sector and fresh highs on Wall Street fueled appetite for riskier assets while crude oil held near nine-month highs as fighting in Iraq intensified, Reuters reported.

Nymex’s crude oil increased 0.2% to US$102.86 per barrel in Asian trading while gold inched up 0.05% to US$1,316.60 per ounce.

Astra International gained 1.75% and Telkom rose 1.24%. While Bumi Resources lost 4.58%.
