JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) gained 0.23% to 5490 at opening trade this morning while regional market were mixed.

Nymex’s crude oil fell 1.07% to US$49.23 per barrel in Asian trading while gold increased 0.57% to US$1,220 per ounce.

Bank Central Asia gained 1.93%, London Sumatra rose 1.31%, Bank Tabungan Negara jumped 3.76%, Matahari Putra Prima hiked 3.72%, Visi Media lifted 1.85%, and Berau Coal climbed 2.4%.

The February deflation supports the buying mood in local stocks. As at Monday (March 2), foreign investors booked net buy of Rp628.9 billion for local stocks on Monday (March 2), bringing year to date net buy to total Rp11.45 trillion.
