JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of Indonesia Stock Exchange ended substantially lower by 1.36% to 5085 Monday (May 27) on broad market correction.

IDX tracked regional markets, which ended mostly lower led by Nikkei 225’s downfall of 3.22%. All Ordinaries also dropped 0.52%, while STI slipped 0.06%.

Almost all Top 20 stocks on IDX ended lower led by PGN (-4.88%) and Charoen Pokphand (-4.72%). Indocement also dropped 4.36%, while Indofood Sukses Makmur lost 2.67%.

Bell weather Astra International declined 2.78%, while BCA, BNI, and BRI lost more than 2% each. Kalbe Farma also dropped 2%, while Surya Citra Media and Media Nusantara Citra down 2.5% and 2.3% respectively.

Unilever Indonesia also down 2.48%, while Telkom slipped 0.81%. Semen Gresik, United Tractors, Adaro, Bumi Resources, Indosat, and Indo Tambangraya also ended in red zone.
