JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) fell 0.53% to 4500 this morning following regional markets.
Nymex’s crude oil dropped 6.73% to US$29.10 per barrel in Asian trading this morning while gold rose 1.58% to US$1,090.60 per ounce.
Brent and U.S. crude futures fell to the lowest since 2003 in Asian trading on Monday as the market braced for a jump in Iranian oil exports following the lifting of the sanctions at the weekend, Reuters reported.
Astra Agro lost 1.2%, Astra International fell 1.25%, Bumi Serpong Damai declined 1.38%, XL Axiata shed 1.23%, Gudang Garam dropped 1.95%, Vale Indonesia slashed 1.4%, Indofood slipped 1.75%, and Semen Indonesia lost 1.54%.
