JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) opened up 0.43% at 5135 this morning, extending yesterday’s gain, following regional markets.
Asian shares edged higher on Tuesday tracking rallies in the United States and Europe as investors seemed to put aside geopolitical concerns, at least for the moment, Reuters reported.
Nymex’s crude oil declined 0.17% to US$97.91 per barrel in Asian trading and gold fell 0.14% to US$1,308.60 per ounce.
Lippo Karawaci hiked 2.14%, Telkom lifted 1.09%, Alam Sutera gained 0.93%, Bank Negara Indonesia rose 0.98%, Adhi Karya added 0.96%, Waskita Karya advanced 1.78%, and Pakuwon Jati gained 1.38%.
