JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) ended up 3.32% at 4,760.74 on Friday (June 14), regained from recent substantial correction due to foreign investors’ sell-offs.

Regional markets also closed in green.

In Jakarta bourse, Media Nusantara Citra jumps 8.85%, Waskita Karya surged 7.3%, Wijaya Karya hiked 5.5%, Pakuwon Jati lifted 5.9%, Bhakti Investama jumped 5.56%, Visi Media gained 8%, and Kawasan Industri Jababeka rose 4.35%.

Banking stocks also gained; Bank Central Asia (+5.38%), Bank Rakyat Indonesia (+6.1%), Bank Negara Indonesia (+5.6%), and Bank Mandiri (+6.2%).

Other gainers were Astra International (+2.2%), Alam Sutera (+2.4%), Bumi Serpong (+4.5%), Lippo Karawaci (+7.84%), Perusahaan Gas Negara (+2.9%), Telkom (+3.43%), and Trada Maritim (+1.5%).

Nymex’s crude oil rebounded 0.2% to US$96.90 per barrel. The rupiah was traded flat at Rp9,886 against the US Dollar.
