JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) ended up 1.37% at 4182 Tuesday (Dec 17), regained from more than 1% correction on Monday (Dec 16).
Investors continued collecting shares of giant Bumi Resources (BUMI) and shares related to Bakrie Group. BUMI gained 2.8% after soaring 27% Monday and Berau Coal Energy jumped 8%. Bumi and Bakrie group’s stocks regained from their bottom just for a technical reason.
Other stocks, also gaining, were newly-listed Sawit Sumbermas Sarana (+6.9%), Bank Rakyat Indonesia (+2.2%), Astra International (+1.6%), Perusahaan Gas Negara (+2.2%), Lippo Karawaci (+1.1%), and Bank Mandiri (+4.7%). While Telkom fell 1.2%. The rupiah was traded flat at Rp12,104 against the US Dollar.
