JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) ended up 0.67% at 4417 Thursday (Oct 3) in line with most markets in the region.
While Japan’s Nikkei and Singapore’s Straits Times closed in red.
In Jakarta bourse, Astra International gained 1.57%, Aneka Tambang rose 3.52%, Alam Sutera increased 1.64%, Telkom up 1.14%.
Other gainers were Cipaganti Citra Graha (+9.26%), Inovisi Infracom (+10.64%), and BW Plantation (+3.8%).
Coal related stocks were also focus of buying; Bumi Resources Minerals (+4.35%), Indika Energy (5.33%), Borneo Lumbung (+2.27%), Harum Energy (+5.26%), Adaro Energy (+4.44%), and Bumi Resources (+2.15%).
Nymex’s crude oil fell 0.5% to US$103.57 per barrel. The rupiah strengthened further to Rp11,535 against the US Dollar.
