JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) ended up 0.56% at 4457 Wednesday (Oct 9) inline with most markets in Asia region.
Coal stocks led market’s gain. Bumi Resources Minerals surged 10%, Indika jumped 3.75, Borneo Lumbung rose 4.55%, Harum Energy hiked 6.25%, Adaro Energy lifted 7.61%, Bumi Resources climbed 6.59%, and Berau Coal Energy increased 3.26%.
Other gainers were Bank Maspion (+12.5%), Cipaganti Citra (+20.97%), Japfa Comfeed (+4.08%), Visi Media (+12.2%), AKR Corporindo (+3.28%), and Telkom (+2.25%).
Nymex’s crude oil declined 0.26% to US$103.22 per barrel. The rupiah weakened further to Rp11,540 against the US Dollar.
