JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) ended up 0.3% at 4,370 Friday (Sept 13), reversed earlier losses, while regional markets closed mixed.
Shares of feed producer PT Japfa Comfeed Tbk (JPFA) jumped 10.69%. It also gained 9.17% on Thursday (sept 12). Recent BI Rate hike is believed to help protecting rupiah from further weakening against the US Dollar.
Other feed producers Charoen Pokphand Indonesia (CPIN) gained 3.4% and Malindo Feedmail climbed 4.6%.
Bank Bukopin also lifted 5% and Bank Tabungan Negara hiked 4.6%. Other gainers were Semen Baturaja (+4.35%), and Waskita Karya (+3.5%).
Among losers were Adaro Energy (-3.09%), Alam Sutera (-1.67%), Bumi Resources (-2.3%), Telkom (-2.25%), London Sumatra (-2.8%), and BW Plantation (2.35%).
