JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) ended up 0.15% to 5156 Monday (August 18) but trade was very volatile. The index moved at range of 5147-5165.
Adaro Energy gained 1.93%, Bank Negara Indonesia rose 1.45%, Waskita Karya hiked 2.8%, Wijaya Karya lifted 1.79%, Global Mediacom climbed 1.06%, Matahari Putra Prima surged 3.2%, and Hanson International gained 1.64%.
Cipaganti Citra Graha soared 15.73% to Rp103 per share with over 136 million shares exchanged hands.
Nymex’s crude oil declined 0.9% to US$96.44 per barrel and gold fell 0.18% to US$1,302.40 per ounce. The rupiah strengthened to Rp11,681 against the US dollar.
