JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index ended down 0.02% at 4,405 Thursday (Sept 26) with selling in one hour ahead of market close erasing 1% gain in early afternoon trade.
The index opened lower but then consistently gained during morning trade but the selling emerged in afternoon trade.
Regional markets closed mixed. Shanghai lost 1.9% while Japan’s Nikkei gained 1.2%.
In Jakarta bourse, Bank Negara Indonesia fell 2.87%, Bumi Serpong Damai lost 1.35%, Lippo Karawaci declined 1.75%, and Semen Indonesia shed 2.8%.
Among gainers were Perusahaan Gas Negara (+1.98%), Sentul City (+6.2%), Bank Rakyat Indonesia (+1.9%), Alam Sutera (+3.28%), and Astra International (+1.59%).
Nymex’s crude oil inched up 0.06% to US$102.72 per barrel. The rupiah was traded flat at Rp11,573 against the US Dollar.
