JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) ended lower 0.9% at 5325 on Monday (Feb 16) as market sentiment was hit by current political concerns.
Astra International lost 1.89%, Alam Sutera fell 2.36%, Bank Mandiri declined 1.05%, Bumi Serpong Damai lost 2.61%, Kalbe Farma dropped 3.74%, Telkom shed 3.02%, and Bumi Resources Minerals dropped 4.6%.
While Matahari Putra Prima gained 3.83%, Bank Tabungan Pensiunan Nasional jumped 3.45%, and Multipolar rose 1.35%.
Reional markets gain with Japanese shares touching an eight-year high on Monday.

Nymex’s crude oil rose 1.9% to US$56.25 and gold increased 0.59% to US$1,227.10 per ounce. The rupiah strengthened to Rp12,742 against the US dollar.
