JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) ended lower 0.65% to 4870 on Wednesday (July 15). Asian stocks mostly closed in green as Chinese economic data came in ahead of estimates, Bloomberg reported.
Alam Sutera dropped 3.6%, Bank Rakyat Indonesia lost 3.57%, Bank Negara Indonesia fell 4.25%, Bank Mandiri declined 1.23%, Telkom shed 1.91%, Wijaya Karya slashed 2.2%, and Bumi Resources Minerals dropped 7.14%.
While Adaro Energy gained 1.71%, AKR Corporindo rose 2.3%, Bumi Serpong Damai jumped 3.89%, Charoen Pokphand climbed 1.1%, Gudang Garam hiked 1.12%, Indocement lifted 1.4%, and Adhi Karya surged 3.61%.
Nymex’s crude oil fell 0.76% to US$54.56 per barrel while gold inched up 0.05% to US$1,154.10 per ounce. The rupiah weakened further to Rp13329 agaisnt the US dollar.
