JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) ended lower 0.6% at 5073 while regional markets closed mixed on concerns over Ebol.

While Japanese shares rose to a two-week high, rebounding following Thursday’s 0.4 percent decline, despite the yen moving off a two-week low against the greenback.

Astra International fell 1.49% and Alam Sutera declined 1.66%. Other losers were Adhi Karya (-1.75%), Waskita Karya (-1.55%), Global Mediacom (-1.03%), Pakuwon Jati (-1.34%), and Bumi Resources Minerals (-1.82%).

While Bumi Resources gained 1.43% and London Sumatra rose 2.2%.

Nymex’s crude oil fell 0.95% to US$81.31 per barrel while gold rose 0.27% to US$1,232.40 per ounce. The rupiah weakened further to Rp12,065 against the US dollar.
