JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) ended higher 0.17% at 4921 Tuesday (May 13) but trade was very volatile. The index moved at range of 4902-4941.

Investors have a flat mood alongwith the development on the political coalition ahead of the presidential race scheduled for July.

Adaro Energy gained 2.93%, Bank Mandiri rose 1%, Jababeka increased 1.95%, Multipolar jumped 3.6%, and Matahari hiked 2.43%.

Among the losers were Astra International (-1%), Alam Sutera (-1.85%), Vale Indonesia (-2.29%), Kalbe Farma (-1.27%), and London Sumatra (-2.88%)

Nymex’s crude oil declined 0.1% to US$100.48 per barrel and gold declined 0.24% to US$1,292.70 per ounce. The rupiah strengthened further to Rp11,525 against the US dollar.
