JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) ended up at but trade was volatile. Regional markets also closed in green.

Among blue chips, Astra International gained 3.85%, Kalbe Farma rose 1.4%, and Telkom increased 0.84%. Other gainers were Waskita Karya (+2.53%), Wijaya Karya (+1.2%), Global Mediacom (+1.09%), and Bumi Resources Minerals (+4.55%).

Banking stocks declined; Bank Rakyat Indonesia (-1.2%), Bank Mandiri (-1.1%), and Bank Negara Indonesia (-0.58%).

Other losers were Bumi Serpong Damai (-0.63%), Bumi Resources (-1.96%), Lippo Karawaci (-0.78%), Adaro Energy (-2.86%), and Media Nusantara Citra (-0.8%).

Nymex’s crude oil dropped 1% to US$106.11 per barrel. The rupiah weakened further to Rp10,288 against the US Dollar.
