JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) ended higher 1.46% at 4275 Tuesday (Dec 10) while most markets in the region closed in red.
Among blue chip stocks, Adaro Energy gained 2.5%, Astra International rose 3.97%, Bank Central Asia hiked 4.26%, Bank Mandiri lifted 2.6%, Indika Energy jumped 3.12%, and Kalbe Farma surged 4.24%. Pakuwon Jati surged 5.56% and Charoen Pokphand jumped 4.55%.
Among losers were Wijaya Karya (-2.38%), Alam Sutera (-2.13%), Bumi Serpong Damai (-1.69%), Bumi Resources (-1.69%), and Lippo Karawaci (-1.1%).
Nymex’s crude oil increased 0.45% to US$97.78 per barrel and gold rose 0.69% to US$1,242.70 per ounce. The rupiah weakened to Rp11,985 against the US Dollar.
