JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) ended higher 1.34% at 4393 Monday (Nov 18) inline with regional markets.
Asian share markets advanced for a third straight session on Monday, cheered by the prospect of extended stimulus in the United States and of real economic reform in China, Reuters reported.
In Jakarta bourse, Adaro Energy jumped 4.27%, Astra International surged 5.56%, Bank Negara Indonesia hiked 4.07%, Charoen Pokphand lifted 4.14%, and Telkom gained 2.3%. Other gainers were Media Nusantara Citra (+5.2%) and Multipolar (+2.67%).
Among losers were Borneo Lumbung Energy (-4.76%), Waskita Karya (-4.2%), BW Plantation (-5.83%), Lippo Karawaci (-2.13%, and London Sumatra (-3.85%).
Nymex’s crude oil declined 0.44% to US$93.43 per barrel while gold fell 0.24% to US$1,284.30 per ounce. The rupiah weakened further to Rp11,627 against the US Dollar.
