JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) ended higher 1.03% to 5,000, following gains in regional markets. The index moved at range of 4946-5,006 during the day trading.

Japan’s Nikkei and Hong Kong’s Hang Seng also gained more than 1% after stronger-than-expected U.S. jobs data eased concerns about global growth.

At Jakarta bourse, Adaro Energy gained 3.17%, Bank Rakyat Indonesia jumped 4.99%, Bank Negara Indonesia surged 5.37%, Vale Indonesia hiked 3.79%, and Jababeka lifted 4.8%.

The World Bank however cautioned of capital-flight risks to Indonesia.

Nymex’s crude oil rose 0.56% to US$88.36 per barrel while gold declined 0.47% to US$1,190 per ounce. The rupiah weakened further to Rp12,212 against the US dollar.
