JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) ended higher 0.43% at 4891 Thursday (April 3), but closed off its high as profit taking hit.
The index moved at range of 4876 to 4896. Regional markets also mostly closed in green.
Among blue chip stocks, Aneka Tambang gained 1.32%, Bank Rakyat Indonesia rose 1%, Bank Negara Indonesia increased 1.46%, Bank Mandiri hiked 1.48%, Jababeka lifted 1.8%, Lippo Karawaci climbed 2.18%, and Trada Maritim up 1.14%.
Among losers were London Sumatra (-1.1%) and Visi Media (-1.57%).
Nymex’s crude oil declined 0.44% to US$99.18 per barrel and gold retreated 0.27% to US$1,287.20 per ounce. The rupiah slightly weakened to Rp11,310 against the US Dollar.
