JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) ended higher 0.22% at 4665 Monday (November 2), regained from earlier losses. The index reached its lowest at 4422 today.
Asian stock markets were mostly lower Monday after lackluster economic data from the U.S. and China, AP reported.
Adaro Energy gained 2.5%, Astra International jumped 5.9%, XL Axiata rose 2.2%, Indofood hiked 5.43%, Indocement lifted 2.36%, Jasa Marga climbed 3.1%, Telkom gained 2.24%, Surya Citra Media surged 4.79%, and Waskita Karya increased 3.37%.
While Aneka Tambang dropped 5%, Alam Sutera lost 3.34%, Bank Rakyat Indonesia declined 2.38%, Vale Indonesia shed 2.46%, Kalbe Farma slashed 2.8%, London Sumatra dropped 4.5%, Japfa Comfeed lost 4.09%, Wijaya Karya fell 4.76%, Media Nusantara Citra declined 4.48%, Matahari Putra Prima shed 4%.
Nymex’s crude oil fell 1.16% to US$46.05 per barrel and gold declined 0.2% to US$1,139 per ounce. The rupiah weakened further to Rp13,682 against the US dollar.
