JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) ended flat Thursday (July 23), only inched down 0.07%, at 4903, while regional closed mixed.
Astra Intenational fell 1.08%, Bank Negara Indonesia declined 1.45%, Bank Mandiri shed 2.88%, Charoen Pokphand slashed 1.62%, XL Axiata dropped 2.2%, and Surya Citra Media lost 4.15%.
While Adaro Energy gained 3.48%, Bumi Resources Minerals jumped 6.45%, AKR Corporindo increased 1.3%, Bank Central Asia climbed 1.48%, Bumi Resources surged 5.77%, Eagle High Plantation hiked 2.36%, Gudang Garam lifted 3.17%, and Matahari Putra Prima gained 4%.
Nymex’s crude oil rose 0.45% to US$49.41 per barrel and gold increased 0.89% to US$1,101.20 per ounce. The rupiah weakened further to Rp13,394 against the US dollar.
