JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) ended down 0.8% at 5071 Thursday (July 17) as profit taking hit after gaining in earlier 3 consecutive days this week.
The index moved at range of 5039-5136. Asian stocks finished mixed.
Timah slided 4.3%, Adaro Energy lost 3.48%, Jababeka dropped 3.75%, Kalbe Farma shed 3.07%, Bumi Serpong Damai fell 2.4%, and Lippo Karawaci declined 2.56%.
Matahari Putra Prima plummeted 10.68% and Bank Tabungan Negara lost 5.35%.
Nymex’s crude oil rose 0.8% to US$102.01 per barrel and gold increased 0.33% to US$1,304.10 per ounce. The rupiah strengthened to Rp11,668 against the US dollar.
