JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) ended down 0.7% to 4288 Tuesday (December 3) alongwith most markets in the region.
Property stocks led market’s fall. Alam Sutera shed 1.89%, Bumi Serpong Damai slided 1.35%, and Lippo Karawaci dropped 3.09%.
Other losers were Adaro Energy (-1.75%), Aneka Tambang (-3.17%), Bumi Resources (-4.76%), Bank Rakyat Indonesia (-1.3%), Bank Negara Indonesia (-1.18%), Jababeka (-2.2%), Kalbe Farma (-1.6%), London Sumatra (-2.13%), and Telkom (-2.27%).
Among gainers were Bank Mandiri (+1.95%), Hanson International (+3.92%), Bank Bukopin (+1.75%), and Adhi Karya (+1.16%).
Nymex’s crude oil increased 0.26% to US$94.06 per barrel while gold inched down 0.02% to US$1,221.60 per ounce. The rupiah strengthened further to Rp11,830 against the US Dollar.
