JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) ended down 0.62% at 4391 Monday (Feb 3), led by blue chip stocks, following regional markets sentiment.
Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) also reported that January 2014 inflation was 1.07%, compared to 0.55% in December 2013. Year-on-year inflation was 8.22%. The rupiah weakened further to Rp12,251 against the US Dollar.
Nymex’s crude oil declined 0.27% to US$97.23 per barrel while gold increased 0.17% to US$1,241.90 per ounce.
In Jakarta bourse, Adaro Energy dropped 4.2%, Astra International fell 1.17%, Bank Negara Indonesia lost 2.06%, Kalbe Farma shed 1.42%, Lippo Karawaci declined 1.05%, and Telkom dropped 2.42%.
Among gainers were London Sumatra (+1.5%), Waskita Karya (+3.7%), Visi Media (+1.84%), Matahari Putra Prima (+1.5%), Wijaya Karya (+1.28%), Adhi Karya (+2.25%), and Media Nusantara Citra (+2.9%).
