JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) edged lower by 0.36% at 4450 Monday (Feb 10), reversing earlier gain, as profit taking hit.

Some blue chips were target of profit taking such as Astra International (-0.38%), Alam Sutera (-2.7%), Bumi Serpong Damai (-0.32%), Bumi Resources (-1.29%), Kalbe Farma (-1.06%), Bank Rakyat Indonesia (-0.29%), and Bank Mandiri (-0.28%).

Other losers were BW Plantation (-0.78%), Perusahaan Gas Negara (-0.1%), Adhi Karya (-1.3%), Waskita Karya (-1.65%), and Matahari Putra Prima (-5.06%).

Among gainers included Adaro Energy (+0.55%), Jababeka (+5.88%), and London Sumatra (+1.74%).

Nymex’s crude oil declined 0.4% to US$99.48 per barrel while gold increased 0.89% to US$1,274.10 per ounce. The rupiah strengthened to Rp12,166 against the US Dollar.
