JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) dropped further by almost 3% as investors might change their mind about the outcome of the upcoming presidential race.

At 3 pm Jakarta time, one hour ahead of market’s close, the index fell 2.8% to 4872.

Investors might be disappointed with Jokowi’s choice of vice president candidate and Prabowo-Hatta-Bakrie’s partnership.

But some investors who earlier were expecting Jokowi would win the presidential race are now worried as supports for Prabowo are now growing.

Telkom dropped 6%, Jababeka lost 4.6%, Bank Mandiri shed 5.4%, Bank Negara Indonesia fell 4.34%, and Bank Rakyat Indonesia dropped 4.33%.
