JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) dropped 1.45% to close at 4508 Thursday (Oct 31) inline with regional markets. Korea’s KOSPI and Japan’s Nikkei also fell more than 1%.

Among blue chips, Astra Agro dropped 5.1%, Adaro Energy fell 2.86%, Astra International lost 3.6%, AKR Corporindo shed 3.96%, Alam Sutera dropped 7.58%, Bumi Serpong Damai fell 3.68%, and Lippo Karawaci lost 4.24%.

Other losers were Adhi Karya (-4.88%), Media Nusantara Citra (-4.76%), Waskita Karya (-3.23%), Wijaya Karya (-5.19%), and Global Mediacom (-3.54%).

Nymex’s crude oil declined 0.2% to US$96.58 per barrel. Gold dropped 1.14% to US$1,334.70. The rupiah weakened further to Rp11,234 against the US Dollar.
