JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) dropped 1.3% to close at 4916 on Monday (JUly 6) and rupiah weakened back to Rp13,353 against the US dollar.
Shares fell in Europe and Asia after Greece overwhelmingly voted against conditions for a rescue package, Reuters reported. Nymex’s crude oil dropped 3.85% to US$54.74 per barrel and gold retreated 0.04% to US$1,164.10 per ounce.
Alam Sutera dropped 4.35%, Bumi Serpong Damai lost 3.66%, Bank Rakyat Indonesia lost 3.93%, Bank Negara Indonesia fell 3.1%, Eagle High Plantations shed 3.18%, and United Tractors slashed 4.28%.
Other losers were Bank Mandiri (-2.46%), Jababeka (-2.24%), Kalbe Farma (-2.08%), Semen Indonesia (-2.86%), Unilever (-2.1%), Bank Tabungan Negara (-3.7%), Adhi Karya (-2.9%), Waskita Karya (-3.28%), Wijaya Karya (-2.4%), and Global Mediacom (-4.26%).
