JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) ended down 0.27% at 5184 Monday (August 25), but closed off its low. The index moved at range of 5177-5200 during the day trading.
Adaro Energy fell 1.99%, Astra International lost 1.29%, Alam Sutera shed 2.78%, BW Plantation dropped 5.66%, London Sumatra declined 3.45%, Lippo Karawaci fell 2.6%, and Jababeka down 1%.
Among gainers were Bumi Resources (+5.35%), Bank Negara Indonesia (+1.4%), Berau Coal (+3.67%), Media Nusantara Citra (+1%), and PT PP (+1.23%).
Nymex’s crude oil declined 0.1% to US$93.56 per barrel and gold slipped 0.13% to US$1,277 per ounce. The rupiah weakened again to US$11,714.
