JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) ended up 0.4% at 4862 but closed off its high as profit taking hit. The index moved at range of 4847-4869.

Bumi Resources jumped 21.37%, regained after losing more than 26% in earlier 3 trading days due concern over the debt payment.

BW Plantation rose 1.19%, Adhi Karya surged 5.66%, Waskita Karya gained 2.29%, and Wijaya Karya increased 2.78%.

Among losers were Adaro Energy (-1.73%), Lippo Karawaci (-3.5%), Timah (-2.29%), Cipaganti (-26.25%), Matahari Putra Prima (-1.64%), and Hanson International (-1.55%).

Nymex’s crude oil declined 0.5% to US$105.64 per barrel while gold rose 0.46% to US$1,324.50 per ounce. Bank Indonesia reported mid rate of rupiah at Rp12,000 against the US dollar.
