JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) ended up 0.54% at 4481 Thursday (Oct 10), but closed off its high. While regional markets ended mixed.
Among blue chip stocks; Astra International gained 3.8%, Telkom rose 2.2%, Perusahaan Gas Negara increased 1.9%, London Sumatra advanced 1.4%, BW Plantation jumped 3.3%, Semen Indonesia added 1.8%, Bumi Serpong Damai hiked 2.1%, and Bank Rakyat Indonesia climbed 1.9%.
Other gainers were Cipaganti (+5.3%), Aneka Tambang (+2%), Tanah Laut (+8%), Visi Media (+4.35%), and Berau Coal (+5.26%).
Among lowers included Lippo Karawaci (-0.97%), Indika Energy (-2.4%), Charoen Pokphand (-2.68%), Alam Sutera (-3.33%), AKR Corporindo (+2.12%), and Japfa Comfeed (-2.6%).
Nymex’s crude oil increased 0.36% to US$101.98 per barrel. Gold declined 0.68% to US$1,298.30 per ounce. The rupiah weakened further to Rp11,542 against the US Dollar.
