JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) ended down 0.23% at 5021 Monday (July 14) while trade was very volatile. The index moved at range of 4999-5047.

Some investors might point to uncertainty surrounding the presidential election results and potential disputes going forward. Prabowo-Hatta campaign camp declared its permanent coalition this afternoon.

While Asian share markets closed in green.

Adaro Energy fell 2.21%, Bumi Resources lost 2.47%, Bank Rakyat Indonesia declined 1.09%, Kalbe Farma shed 2.02%, London Sumatra dropped 2.67%, and Timah down 1.08%.

Among gainers were Telkom (+1.36%), Bumi Serpong Damai (+2.89%), and Wijaya Karya (+1.83%).

Nymex’s crude oil fell 0.35% to US$100.48 per barrel and gold declined 1.12% to US$1,322.40 per ounce. The rupiah was traded flat at Rp11,627 against the US dollar.
