JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) closed higher 0.36% at 5112 on Friday (November 21), regained its morning’s loss, following regional markets.
Reuters repoted Asian shares rose on Friday after U.S. data showed broad U.S. economic strength.
Investors focused buying property stocks. Alam Sutera jumped 7.45%, Lippo Karawaci surged 5.12%, Bumi Serpong Damai gained 2.14%, Jababeka increased 1.4%, and Pakuwon Jati climbed 2.4%.
Other gainers were Aneka Tambang (+2.62%), Vale Indonesia (+1.75%), Timah (+3.35%), Telkom (+1.65%), and London Sumatra (+2.78%). While Bumi Resorces dropped 4.12%.
Nymex’s crude oil increased 0.62% to US$76.32 per barrel while gold retreated 0.18% to US$1,188.70 per ounce. The rupiah was traded flat at Rp12,161 against the US dollar.
