JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) ended up 0.1% at 5098 Thursday (July 24) but trade was very volatile. The index moved at range of 5080-5119.
Aneka Tambang jumped 11.45%, Bumi Resources hiked 7.05%, Adaro Energy surged 4.52%, Vale Indonesia lifted 4.4%, Timah climbed 4.83%, and London Sumatra gained 3.23%.
While Bumi Serpong Damai lost 2.42%, Alam Sutera declined 1.87%, Lippo Karawaci dropped 3.93%, Perusahaan Gas Negara down 1.64%, Adhi Karya fell 3.3%, Waskita Karya lost 2.4%, and Wijaya Karya declined 1.48%.
Nymex’s crude oil declined 0.25% to US$102.86 per barrel and gold fell 0.56% to US$1,297.40 per ounce. The rupiah weakened again to Rp11,531 against the US dollar.
