JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) closed flat at 4819 Tuesday (April 29), only inched up 0.02% while trade was volatile.

The index moved at range of 4800 to 4823. While regional markets mostly closed in red zone.

Bank Central Asia (BCA) gained 3.77%, BW Plantation rose 1.45%, London Sumatra climbed 1%, Jababeka increased 1.19%, PTPP hiked 2.52%, and Media Nusantara Citra lifted 1.5%.

Among losers were Astra International (-1.64%), Bank Negara Indonesia (-2.72%), Bumi Resources (-1%), Perusahaan Gas Negara (-3.2%), and Telkom (-2.58%).

Nymex’s crude oil increased 0.42% to US$101.26 per barrel while gold declined 0.82% to US$1,288.30 per ounce. The rupiah weakened to Rp11,589 against the US dollar.
