JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) opened up 0.29% to 4,691 this morning inline with most markets in the region.
Asian shares inched up to a near five-week high on Thursday after Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke pledged to keep monetary policy easy for the foreseeable future, Reuters reported.
Nymex’s crude oil declined 0.17% to US$106.30 per barrel in Asian trading this morning.
In Jakarta bourse, Adaro Energy gained 1.43%, Bank Rakyat Indonesia rose 1.9%, Bank Negara Indonesia increased 1.18%, Bank Mandiri added 2.35%, Bumi Serpong Damai advanced 1.92%, and Telkom up 0.44%.
Other gainers were Trada Maritim (+0.7%), Waskita Karya (+1.27%), Wijaya Karya (+1.15%), Global Mediacom (+1%), Pakuwon Jati (+1.49%), and Bank Bukopin (+3.12%).
