JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Humpuss Intermoda TBk (HITS), shipping company controlled by Tommy Soeharto, is seeking loan of Rp2.96 trillion to fund this year’s capital expenditure (capex) of Rp3.7 trillion.
Bisnis Indonesia reported HITS plans to buy 3 vessels to transport LNG, petrochemical, fuel and offshore vessel.
HITS also opts to focus on transporting cement products, instead of coal which is on declining.
HITS targets to book revenue of US$100 million in 2015, a 24.5% rise compared to this year’s US$75.5 million. While net profit is expected to grow by 25% to US$4.4 million from US$3.3 million expected for this year.
