JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Media Nusantara Citra (MNCN) Tbk, media giant controlled by Harry Tanoesoedibjo, has dropped out of Top 20 stocks on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) by market capitalization.
MNCN, parent of TV stations RCTI, MNC TV, and Global TV, ended substantially lower by 6.2% to Rp2650 Friday (June 21), cutting down its year-to-date gain to 6% only.
At Rp2650, MNCN has market capitalization of Rp37 trillion, 21st on IDX below Elang Mahkota Teknologi (EMTK) at Rp37.8 trillion. EMTK is holding company of Surya Citra Media (SCMA), which controls TV stations SCTV and Indosiar.
EMTK, controlled by Sariaatmadja family, has surged almost 72% year-to-date. Global Mediacom (BMTR), controlling shareholder of MNCN, meanwhile, has dropped out of Top 30 with market cap of Rp27 trillion only.
Harry Tanoesoedibjo is now key leader of Hanura Party led by General (ret) Wiranto.
