JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The Ministry of Finance had on Tuesday (October 21) auctioned Islamic (Syariah) bonds, or Sukuk, to raise Rp1.49 trillion.
The incoming bids totaled Rp3.56 trillion. The Sukuk auctioned consisted of SPN-S 08042015 series, PBS005 series, and PBS006 series.
The government also targets to raise Rp21.2 trillion via offering retail bonds, series 011, to help funding this year’s budget.
The government had issued bonds worth Rp429 trillion this year, and plans to issue bonds of Rp430 trillion next year, of which 20% in foreign currencies denomination.
