JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The government of Indonesia offers the management of 10 airports to private investors, both local and foreign.

Among the said 10 airports are airports in Palu (Sulawesi), Tanjung Karang (Sulawesi), and Labuan Bajo (Flores).

Some 30 investors have expressed their interests to manage the offered airports. PT Garuda Indonesia Airlines Tbk (GIAA) is also interested.

This projects will support the goals of Master Plan for the Acceleration and Expansion of Indonesia’s Economic Development (MP3EI).

State airport operator PT Angkasa Pura I plans to build some new airports including airports in Yogyakarta and Semarang. Angkasa Pura I is now building international standard airport in Sepinggan, Balikpapan.
